eXpd8's Proactive Maintenance Service
As part of eXpd8’s commitment to deliver a first-class service to its clients we have made a number of changes to our contracts.
As a Gold or Silver client you will now be part of our Managed Services Automation service. Depending on your contract a number of actions will run on a weekly and monthly basis to help keep your network running as efficiently as possible.
eXpd8 will be actively deploying workstations and servers as the threat of attack continue to rise.
Each week you will receive a notification to your desktop similar to image as shown. This popup may vary as we evolve the service – this is your reminder that we will be working on your computer after hours that evening.
It is really important that you save all your work and close down all applications, but leave the computer turned on.
Workstations
Workstation maintenance will start at 10 pm each Wednesday evening following is a sample of the activities that will occur
- Workstation reboot
- All eXpd8 approved windows security updates
- Common application updates
eXpd8 will also run a number of maintenance scripts on your workstation to review the health of the machine. These will vary and will change over time due to operating system changes and user needs.

- 3rd Sunday each month
- 12 Midnight - 6AM
- Microsoft Security Updates

Servers
Each Month on the 3rd weekend of the month we will reboot and update all your servers as part of our service.
This will occur on Sunday morning between 12 midnight and 6am Sunday morning – the servers will not be available during this period.

- Memory performance
